Watch Heidi Montag Miss Universe Video Ah, the internet. Amazing how when one vid hits the internet it can become a global phenomenan in a matter of hours isn’t it? Anyway onto the real talk. Yesterday young, hot, sexy, slim, sexy (yes, I added all those in including young) Heidi Pratt Montag gave a performance, and oh my was it a performance. . . Watch Heidi Montag Miss Universe Video Not to brag, but I, a 15 year old, think I could have done far better then her performance. I’d give her a B for effort but for performance they’red be no high school graduation for her. She did try all sorts of body curving techniques but they just didnt work out for her as NBC, the broadcasters of the show blocked out more then half of her performance. This was Heidi Montag’s first live performance for the Miss Universe 2009 Pagaent. She lip sang/sync’d one of Queen’s hit songs “Body Language”. The 22 year old is an American singer and T. V. star. She is probably most famous for appearing on the great (cough, cough) MTV show: The Hills. She has appeared in every single episode since the show began. The Miss Universe 2009 Pagaent encompasses 84 hot sexy chicks trying to act elegant, pretty, classy (you know, doing their thang’) and 12 fierce judges who will decide the one winner amongst the 84 contestants. They will all go head to head for this event which is considered one of the biggest if not the biggest beauty pagaent this year with viewers from over 170 countries watching. Last years winner was Miss Venezeula who will pass on her crown to this years winner whoever that may be. Watch Heidi Montag Miss Universe Video

Heidi Montag Miss Universe Youtube | Watch Her Performance Now
Sunday, January 24th, 2010Watch Heidi Montag Miss Universe Video No matter how hard we try social media is clearly the grounds of socialism these days. I mean, for one young american’s peformance on some beauty pagaent to hit search engines like this? Only social media. Watch Heidi Montag Miss Universe Video To mark the eve of the Miss Universe Pagaent 2009 Heidi Montag gave a performance which my oh my rocked the world. Now, this isn’t a hate article. It’s more like a fix up and improve article, ya know? Heidi’s performance that’s been circling around the web for the past 5 hours has been dubbed “Heidi Montag Miss Universe Video”. Not to brag or nothing, but I’m 15, and I reckon I could have done a better job at entertaining the crowd with a bit of krumping (which I’m not even good at) then she did with her low class Britney Spear’s like performance. For effort, she’d probably get an A-, as it was clear she was trying to change what she knew was an awful by sliding her body from side to side, twisting, all that kind of thing. Sadly it just didn’t work out for her and NBC cut over half the performance from their broadcast and she definitely wouldn’t be graduating high school, let alone college on that performance. In the performance Heidi Montag lip sang / sync’d the Queen song “Body Language”. The 22 year old first came to “stardom” as an “actor” and singer on the MTV series: The Hill which she starred in every episode for three whole season’s until the shows end in 2007 Watch Heidi Montag Miss Universe Video
African American Athletes Gaining in Lacrosse
Saturday, January 23rd, 2010In 1953 the Brooklyn Dodgers made history by starting five players of African descent (Americans Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella, Don Newcombe and Jim Gilliam, plus Cuban Sandy Amoros). It was the first time that more than half the starting players on a major league baseball team were black. Last year a similar moment took place in collegiate lacrosse when the Baltimore Sun reported that Virginia fielded a midfield made up of all African American athletes for about 30 seconds in the third quarter until Rhamel Bratton scored a goal and the lines were changed. Drew Pannell and Ryland Huyghue are both founding members of the International Diversity Lacrosse Council (IDLC). According to the Sun, the IDLC, founded in 2007, provides services and programs that impact inner city and other under-served communities. ”There is major significance here,” Huyghue told the Sun. “The fact is that there are less than two percent of African-American athletes playing the sport of lacrosse. It shows the sport has no color boundaries and that anyone of any background can play the sport and play it well. It also shows that the coach is looking at them as athletes whom he has confidence in to get the job done. What happened on the field that Saturday was a major advancement in the sport of lacrosse. “ When many Americans think of lacrosse their minds flash back to the Duke lacrosse rape case which ended in the charges dropped against the accused players and severe penalties against the local prosecutor for misconduct. In this case, the alleged victim was African American, the accused were Caucasian, and there was one African American athlete on the team. At the height of the coverage, Duke African American athlete and lacrosse player Devon Sherwood stepped forward and told ABC News that his white teammates were being stereotyped and were victims of reverse discrimination. Sherwood also said that members of the black community in Durham accused him of selling-out the race because of his Duke scholarship and his position in the traditionally white sport. “It’s terrible to find yourself being stereotyped,” Sherwood told ABC News, “regardless of who you are. “ Major League Lacrosse claims that African American athlete participation in the sport is growing. Former All Star Goalie Bill Daye, an African American who had to retire because of a neck injury, is bullish on the progress he has seen. ”I think it’s great for lacrosse that more African-American players are involved and it has made the game more diverse,” Daye said. “When I began playing I was one of the few black athletes involved and sometimes I took some heat for it because it was thought of as a sport in which only white athletes participated. ”I simply fell in love with the game as I’m sure other African American players have. For that sole reason it should not matter what color your skin is but how you perform when you step on the field. ” Daye particularly cited John Christmas, Damien Davis and Kyle Harrison as examples of what African American Athletes can accomplish as prejudices and barriers fall and more opportunity is realized. “I hope they will pave the road for more black lacrosse players to follow,” he said. ”Lacrosse has never had a platform like the NBA, NFL, or Major League Baseball,” said Joshua Christian, Managing Director of Sports Development at US Lacrosse. “Lacrosse doesn’t have those iconic figures like Michael Jordan. The general public just hasn’t been exposed to it. There are no identifiable heroes. “ In fact, the biggest lacrosse figure is better know for playing football, Hall of Fame running back Jim Brown. Brown was a two-time lacrosse All-American at Syracuse University from 1954 to 1957. Brown is considered by many to be the greatest ever to play the game and was inducted into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 1983. As lacrosse raises its profile and African American athletes emerge as stars, African American participation will grow. As has been proven for more than 60 years, the need to win and the rewards that follow will trump any need to exclude.
Minnesotaâs African American Leadership ModelâA fine example of Totalitarianism â¦The 2009 version of how our own will sell us back into Slavery
Friday, January 22nd, 2010By Donald W. R.  Allen, II â Editor in Chief/IBNN The Radical may resort to the sword, (in 2009: the keyboard), but when he does he is not filled with hatred against those individuals whom he attacks. He hates these individuals not as persons but as symbols representing ideas or interests which he believes to be inimical to the welfare of the people. (Alinsky 1946: 23) On Saturday, (11/21) I ventured to General Mills to catch a glimpse of the 170 African-American âhand-pickedâ leaders for the African-American Leadership Forum. (Only two kinds of people can afford the luxury of acting on principle, those with absolute power and those with none and no desire to get any. ) Headwater Foundations Trista Harris and Northwest Area Foundations Gary Cunninghamâs emails stating that there was a process one could follow in order to be invited to the Leadership meeting were misleading. Rev. Jerry McAfee and Spike Moss were both invited on the insistence of Rep. Bobby Jo Champion less than 24 hours before Saturdayâs meeting. This is not the âprocessâ detailed in the meetings. IBNN was later contacted by several participants at Saturdayâs cattle herd.  One of them said, âThis was nothing but a breakfast and lunch to get a bunch of names so the Headwaters Foundation can seek future funding. Nothing got done.  The circus-like engagement was a dirty shame and disrespectful to all African-Americans. â After I had a 40-minute conversation with Northwest Area Foundationâs Gary Cunningham, it seemed that we both wanted the same outcomes for Black people in Minnesota.  His statements were good â but the actions that he took excluded the real Minnesota black leadership and further delayed the attainment of justice for all. You see Mr. Cunningham is not a radical. White Minnesota feels comfortable working with him. He will do what the master says, with little resistance. (IBNN will look at Cunninghamâs involvement with Pilot City- now NorthPoint Health and Wellnessâ and the African American Menâs Project in an upcoming story. ) Although I was not allowed to enter the guarded area at General Mills, while Gary and I talked, several people that were not on any list were granted admission to this âprivate formal meeting. â Yet it was impossible for the interested public to become fully informed about the African American Leadership Forum. The sad thing about the African American Leadership forum is, organizations âself-chargedâ with the organizing of this model â Northwest Foundation; Headwaters Foundation and the Stairstep Foundation recognize no limits to their authority and strive to regulate every aspect of Black engagement wherever feasible. The element of authoritarianism, according to which ordinary Blacks have no significant share in decision-making, helps to maintain these organizations in positions of political power by means of an official all-embracing ideology and propaganda disseminated through the controlled personality cults, along with regulations and restrictions of free discussion and criticism.  This is the definition of totalitarianism. An e-mail response sent to me by Mr. Cunningham reads: Hello Mr. Allen, It is clear that we have either a miscommunication or misunderstanding. If you recall, in August I invited you and Mr. Edwards to participate in African-American Leadership Forum. At that time, you refused this invitation. (No invite received) As Trista has outlined in her e-mail to you today, the African American Leadership Forum does have a process for people who are interested in participating. Trista outlined the reasons for this and offered you or anyone else you would like to participate in a cascading group to do so. This offer still stands. Other new members of the Forum have participated in the same process. We appreciate your interest in working to improve the lives of African American people. The members of African American Leadership Forum are also dedicated to this effort. As you may already be aware, the members of African American Leadership Forum come from a variety of backgrounds and have diverse views. The tent is big enough for everyone. I have known and have worked with several of the individuals you have proposed to attend the Forum and have respect for them all. We would certainly welcome them into the Forum after they participated in the cascading group process. The next meeting of the African American Leadership Forum will occur sometime in the [1] spring of next year and I hope to see you there. With all the best Gary â Gary L. Cunningham Vice President of Programs â Chief Program Officer Northwest Area Foundation T: 651. 225. 3868 #       #           # [1] âThe next meeting of the African American Leadership Forum will occur sometime in the spring of next year. â â¦By the spring of next year, you have no Black leaders asking the City of Minneapolis about the Empowerment Zone dollars.  No one to ask, officially, why hasnât a Disparity Report been completed? While Black Minnesota is stifled by leaders that want to meet according to âFunding Cyclesâ while ignoring the real issues, the average man should ask, âWhat kind of Bullshit is this?â It will be a cold winter. Several creditable institutions are already established with foundations in place to address the disparities of Black people in Minnesota.  The University of Minnesotaâs Urban Research and Outreach Center (UROC) has a presence in North Minneapolis with 10 resident programs to form a coalition to address the issues of poverty, education, healthcare, foreclosures and economic development in a blighted area while developing solutions by models created from an academia influence, which in our opinion will be best for Black Minnesota. The Council on Black Minnesotans is available to deal with laws pertaining to Black Minnesotans and can expand UROCâs mission as a formidable ally. When a group of organizations with a Totalitarian mission to rid the lower one-third of the community the opportunity to participate, discuss or criticize a process, using the same point people that have created âcatastrophicâ failures in all areas of Black life, itâs time to look at who the real leaders are, and not at the usual suspects, who have their hands out at the table. I attest that the African-American Leadership Forum held at General Mills on Saturday, November 21, 2009 is in violation of Minnesotaâs Open Meeting Law. The folly the Black community had suffered at the hands of the same high-brow, stratified Black people must stop now.

Maryville Announces $1.6 Million Gift of Land, Property
Monday, January 18th, 2010St. Louis - Maryville University has announced the generous gift of land and property from Dick and Cheryl McKinley of Augusta, Mo. The McKinleys’ donation includes 92 acres of rolling hills, along with two residences and a small cabin. Located off Highway 94 to the east of Augusta, the property is just below Montelle Winery on a steep hill known as Klondike. Valued over $1. 6 million, the gift will greatly enhance the University’s academic programs, said Maryville President Mark Lombardi. “We are very excited about the many learning opportunities this gift will provide for Maryville University students,” Lombardi said. “Our faculty members are already making plans to use the land across a number of disciplines, including biological, botanical and geological research, as well as astronomy studies. ” Offering an abundance of natural beauty, the property features a lake, a pond, sandstone ledges, both cultivated and wooded acreage and natural springs. It was purchased in the 1960s by Frank Schwaiger and his wife, Trudi Schwaiger, parents of Cheryl McKinley. The Schwaigers immigrated to St. Louis in the 1930s, when Mr. Schwaiger was hired as head brewmaster at Anheuser-Busch Brewery. He was only 29 years old at the time. To honor their heritage, the Schwaigers built the main house, designed primarily by Mrs. Schwaiger, an artisan and educator, in the style of a Bavarian chalet. Used for many years as a family vacation home, the surrounding property is adjacent to land now owned by St. Louis architect Frank Schwaiger, Mrs. McKinley’s brother, who has granted a walking easement to Maryville. “I have happy memories of this place. ” Mrs. McKinley said. “My family worked hard during the week and as soon as possible we’d go out to the country to relax. By Sunday afternoon when we packed up to leave, we felt a complete sense of renewal. “Since 1991, the property has been used as a retreat center for F. R. E. S. H. Renewal Center, a non-profit organization founded by the McKinleys. Cheryl has an advanced degree in theology from United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities and is a pastoral caregiver, while her husband Dick, a physician, is a Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine. F. R. E. S. H. stands for Fellowship Renewing Experience, Strength and Hope. Its mission is to serve all spiritual seekers and at the center in Augusta, specialized in ministry to individuals and small groups. The chalet will continue to be used as a retreat center for faculty, staff, students and alumni groups within the Maryville community, said Tom Eschen, vice president for Institutional Advancement. “While students will find tremendous value in using the property as an outdoor classroom experience, we also hope to engage focus groups, planning committees, think tanks, alumni boards, and other small and large groups in activities designed to take advantage of such restful surroundings just 30 minutes from St. Louis,” Eschen said. The McKinleys are pleased that the University plans to keep the property intact as it becomes integrated into the life of the Maryville community. “When I decided it was time to let this part of my life go, finding the right persons to steward the land became important. We’ve received a lot of cooperation from Maryville,” Mrs. McKinley said. “I hope the University will begin to use it quickly and with great joy. “Maryville University, founded in 1872, is a four-year, private university located in west St. Louis County. Ranked by U. S. News & World Report as one of America’s Best Colleges in the Masters-Midwest category, Maryville University students may choose from 50 academic programs, including degrees at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels. Among recent graduates, 94 percent are employed or attending graduate school. More than 15,000 Maryville alumni work and live in the St. Louis region.
kidney disease among African Americans and Minorities
Sunday, January 17th, 2010There is all this talk about Government health care. This is something lower-income and minorities should be involved in. Why do you think this is being opposed? The majority of African Americans, are working on jobs that don’t provide health care. When they need medical help, they go to a free clinic, or a teaching hospital. These medical facilities are breading grounds for experimentation’s. Have you ever looked around, and noticed how many African Americans are on kidney dialysis. Do you really believe that many people have bad kidneys. My sister told me about a lady that had a mother to die from “kidney disease”. The hospital told her children to get tested, because they probably had it, but they couldn’t,t tell them the specific disease . Those that were tested, have either died, or living a horrible life on dialysis. Those that weren’t tested, are in good health. One of the siblings that is on dialysis, was told “she has been taken off the transplant list, because she can’t afford the medication”. I had a friend to go into the hospital, they did open heart surgery, and put her on dialysis, when she asked them why she was on dialysis, they told her, her kidneys had been bad for years, she just didn’t know it. The horror stories go on. There are dialysis center, working 24/7Why do you think hospitals for major universities are located in urban areas, sometimes miles from the university. When you go in to that doctors office , or the hospital room, be ready to ask questions, read every thing, before you sign it, if you aren’t sure what it is, have it explained to you. You must be able to tell them about the problem you’re having. Be specific, read and learn your body. If you are able to tell them something specific, they are less likely to experiment. The other area that has become a huge problem, Children being placed on medication for behavior problems. This is a huge problem, and the school system is playing a big part in this. Thacher’s, are not psychologist, but they are the ones that have children placed on medication. This is of great concern, because, parents can get a check for these children, when they are placed on medication. It was thought these were problems in particular areas of the country, but it has become apparent, this is all over the country. Children are being taken from homes, solely on the recommendations of teachers. It’s know as legally kidnapping. There are reports of children dying from this medication. Most people don’t realize, the drug company pays the school for putting children on ritalin. Research shows that when children have used retalin, and taken off, they become violent. If you only read one book in your life time, make it, Medical Apartheid, by Harriet Washington.
